Chasing Picture Perfection – Challenge 4

I admit it - I’ve failed miserably when it came to getting the last 2 photo challenges done.  No excuses – just life.   But here is my attempt at Challenge #4: The Rule of Thirds.   In short, the concept of the rule of thirds speaks to the composition of a photo.  See Stacie’s blog for a more in depth (and better!) review of this, and other great photo tips: Chasing Picture Perfection.

This picture of Punk is nicely offset.  If you imagine a tic-tac-toe board interlaced over the top of the photo, you would see her left eye is at the left verticle line, and her mouth is at the bottom horizontal line. 

Compare the photos – same tree, same light, but one subject offset and one centered.  Nothing particularly wrong with the centered photo – just not as interesting somehow.
